The quest for rising
My Name is Alvaro, I am a guitar teacher. Have been for more than 20 years. My specialty is helping beginners.
Since people call for my services all the time and I can only teach one person at a time, I had the need to post my lessons on the web, but turns out, other teachers had the same idea. The web is crowded with free lessons. I did not know this and I waisted money on paid advertising.
I used the “free lesson” phrase as a keyword and that cost me my already slim savings account. Nobody told me I had to do a “niche” study BEFORE starting any web business. Anyway, I’ll beat the competition with good content and quality service.
To be honest, the problem that I have faced is the incredible amount of competition, hundreds of thousands of websites paid and free, but above all, I know deep in my heart that my lessons can definitely teach any person to start from zero and competition is not good enough to beat my experience and dedication to my students. I am entirely sure that people all over the world will start to recognize my talent to teach, once they try my system.
Starting from zero sometimes is difficult when you attend an academy or school because they teach mostly in groups. That’s one problem. The other is, that they have to follow a program, which sometimes, is not what the student wants to learn (client is always right, remember?).
I personally do not believe in group guitar lessons because every person has different talents.
For example:
One student could have a very sharp “ear” but little talent for rhythm. Another could possess amazing musical skills but limited understanding of reading and theory.
That is why I only teach individuals. Now I’ve decided to record my lessons on video and upload them into a website called www.guitarsimple.com.
Due to my latin roots, I have my lessons also in Spanish. In fact, English is my second language.
You can find my lessons at:
http://www.guitarsimple.com and
http://www.esp.guitarsimple.com (Spanish)
They are specially designed for beginners.
In the next birthday, this could be a great gift for people you love, instead of the same jacket or perfume you gave them last time.
Yes… I know there are billions of free guitar lessons on the Internet but I strongly believe in my ability to teach because I pay attention to ALL details and hundreds of people had learned from me during these past 20 years.
20 years ago, after 4 years of attending classes with outstanding grades, I could not finish my music studies because I needed to pay my bills, but now I am back to school and working on my Music Education degree at my old University. Is amazing that my Music History teacher is still there and I am taking his class again to refresh my knowledge, among other mandatory classes, but I really enjoy it, and my grades are top.
I have one free lesson in case you want to try: www.lesson1.guitarsimple.com
Think about my lessons, as a way to relax and enjoy music after a hard day’s work.
God bless !!
